PN Going downhill

Malta Independent Saturday, 25 March 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

The Nationalist Party never ceases to surprise me. Whenever an election is due, whether it is on a local level or a national one, their tune is always the same. Our economy is on the move. Our deficit is being controlled, unemployment is on the decline, there are enough projects and investments that will employ thousands. The Titanic and what happened to it is a myth because “we” are heading in the right direction.

Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi’s strategy does not convince me at all. Lawrence Gonzi and his ministers are making no “sound” when they talk.

Losing four elections (one of them for members of the European Parliament) is no joke. It is evident that the PN is on a downhill slope.

The last local council election proved that!
