I refer to Marie Benoît’s comment: “Hard to believe that a tent which cost over one million was brought to Malta and yet a permit for it to be put up has not been issued by MEPA to date... Suppose Signit don’t get the required permit.” (TMIS, Gallarija, 19 March)

Logic makes me differ with Ms Benoît. I find it hard to believe that such an expensive tent was actually brought to Malta in the first place without the security of a permit! Indeed, from what I understand, for an individual or company to bring such a tent to Malta means that such a permit was a foregone conclusion!
