Anybody who needed to conduct business at the Cittadella in Victoria lately, will agree that something has to be done with regard to the parking arrangements in this area.
Hundreds of people visiting the courts, the cathedral, the business and catering establishments together with tourists and other visitors find it very difficult to park their cars in the vicinity as there are very few parking spaces. The parking areas in Victoria are simply too far away from the steep hill that leads to the Cittadella.
The ordeal becomes even more exasperating when one sees the empty parking area just below the walls of the Citadel owned by the Cathedral. For some obscure reason it seems that the Cathedral authorities are not allowed to use this space as a car park.
Could some kind-hearted politician or civil servant take an interest in this issue and resolve the matter, allowing us all to park without having to trudge up the hill.
