Thanks to the boundless generosity of local importers and other businessmen, our group is once again sending a 40-foot container to Fr Joe Camilleri, who has been doing missionary work in Guatemala for the past 13 years.

The arrival of this container will surely be welcomed by the numerous poor parishioners of Fr Joe’s parish as, besides containing foodstuffs and new clothes, the container will also be taking tiles, paint and other articles to help Fr Joe and his helpers finish the much-needed hospital, which hopefully should soon be ready and functional.

However, since the transport of the container is very expensive, we are once again appealing to the generosity of your readers to contribute towards this aim by sending cheques, made payable to Fr Joe Camilleri himself, either to his sisters at 28, St Zachary Street, Xewkija, Gozo, or to our address Victoria, 169, Fleur-de-Lys Road, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara. All donations received will be gratefully acknowledged.
