I would like to express my appreciation to both Zabbar Primary Schools. Although both schools organised their Sports Day at Cottonera Sport Complex separately, our children, in the comfort of an indoor court, thus avoiding the spring sun, did their best and took part in a number of events as their main goal was to participate.

School B students were given a token in remembrance of the day. A local company sponsored School A with a drink and cereal.

It was with great satisfaction that we, the parents, had the opportunity of watching our children compete and our children were proud to have us watching them. Their faces lit up when parents and teachers took part in an event. The headmasters did not miss out too.

This makes one look forward to next year’s sports day. A thank you goes to the organisers, who I am sure had no easy task considering that both schools have a large number of students.
