Further to Daphne’s rant about traffic wardens (TMID, 20 April) am I the only person who finds it strange that wardens can park a car on double yellow lines, in order to stick violation tickets on cars parked on single yellow lines?

And, if it is really the case that men can be fined for going about “topless”, I think the Malta Tourism Authority should be told.

Potential holiday makers could then be warned, and this might put an end to what is obviously considered by many as a total nuisance (all those tourists flocking in to the place), once and for all.
