Four other matches have been played tfrom the last 16 phase of the Acqua Azzurra Pro Am Snooker tournament.

In the first match Joe Grech beat Marlon Bugeja 3-1 (87-31, 63-42, 47-75,

81-23). In the first frame Grech compiled a break of 45 while in the last frame the same player managed the highest break in this competition, a 72.

In the second match, Peter Schembri beat Arthur Cachia 3-0 (63-18, 59-55,

66-54), while in the following match Simon Camilleri beat Tony Brincat

3-1 (60-61, 70-31, 94-14, 66-22). In the third frame Camilleri managed a good break of 70.

In the last game of the week, Simon Zammit played a really good game by beating Jean Pierre Woods 3-0 ( 67-35, 91-52, 72-41).

Meanwhile, the quarter-finals draw is the following: Alex Borg v Clint Grima, Thurston Grixti v Simon Zammit, Joe Grech v Peter Schembri and Simon Camilleri will meet the winner of the match between Duncan Bezzina and Frans Mintoff.
