Malta Independent Sunday, 30 April 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 19 years ago

Love it or hate it, the World Cup is back and with it a time for excitement, joy, heartbreak and the ever popular carcade for some people. This time around, HSBC Bank Malta is giving its customers the opportunity to make this World Cup one to remember.

HSBC Bank Malta has just launched its ‘Grand HSBC World Cup experience’ campaign through which it is offering its customers the chance to win some truly fantastic prizes. In fact, 10 customers will be going on holiday to Germany for one week, six of them with stadium tickets to watch a quarter final match and the other four with stadium tickets to watch a semi-final final match. Another two customers will be winning a 42" Plasma screen TV each and one lucky customer will bag the grand prize and be handed the keys of a brand new Peugeot 107 with all the extras you could want.

Truly a World Cup offer that will appeal whether you love or hate football.

Taking part in the Grand HSBC World Cup experience lottery is simple. Between now and 9 July, all HSBC customers who take out a new Flexicredit, Home Loan, Maxicredit, Credit Card, Gold Account or purchase a Life Assurance or Investment Product are being given a free entry draw to win the prize. Also, all HSBC Debit and Credit cardholders will receive a free entry for every Lm250 they spend during the campaign period.

Apart from this fantastic initiative, HSBC is also offering a number of special discounts on its products for this period including 50 per cent discounts on processing fees for Flexicredit and Home Loans, a six month 0 per cent interest rate on new HSBC Classic Credit Cards and a free supplementary card for new Gold Account holders.

“Excitement for the World Cup is building up and HSBC is adding to this excitement with a range of special offers and the chance to win some truly fantastic prizes. We’re giving our customers a chance to live the experience and make this World Cup one to remember for life,” said HSBC Malta’s Head of Personal Financial Services, Godfrey Swain.
