I am currently experiencing great difficulty in finding seats – at any price – from Malta to Dublin, at times when I want to travel in summer, and Air Malta appears to have abandoned its previous service to Cork.

While it is good news that the national airline can apparently fill all of its seats, if it doesn’t wish to maintain or increase the service on these routes it would appear to be a perfect gap for the (Irish-based) Ryanair to be invited to fill.
