With reference to Mr Meurer’s letter entitled The Gozo International Celebration – Easter 2006 (TMID, 18 April) the organising committee of the Gozo International Celebration welcomes such comments.

Like Mr Meurer, many other participants of different denominations and nationalities have asked about the next event.

Considering the massive response to and attendance at the first and second

Gozo International Celebrations (at Christmas and Easter) at Qala, it is

the intention of the organising committee to organise a Festa edition on Sunday, 30 July.

This event will include fresh programme items appropriate for the particular time of the year and due consideration will be given the many excellent suggestions and wishes of the attendees.

The organising committee of the Gozo International Celebration would like to thank the hundreds of families, couples and individuals for their kind comments and our many volunteers who have made this memorable event possible.
