After reading the article on the internet regarding asthma sufferers in Malta (TMID, 3 May), it did not surprise me at all when you think of all the dust that is created Monday to Friday from all the building sites that is forever going on.

Malta always seems to be just one building site that is never ending. Can you imagine what it is doing to the young, breathing nothing but dust? Malta is only small so wherever you are you cannot escape the problem.

It is time that something is done to lessen the amount of construction that takes place and think of the young.
