Students at St Paul CBS on North Brunswich Street had the chance to find out all about Malta when Ambassador Richard Muscat paid a visit to the school and gave a talk about his country and its place in the European Union.
Ambassadors and embassy officials from many of the European Union Member States, as well as Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia, are visiting schools around Ireland in April and May as part of the “Back to School” programme organised by the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
The initiative is part of Spring Day in Europe 2006, an annual event aimed at helping young people learn more about Europe and to contribute to the debate about its future.
