On Friday, 12 May, the Activities and Sports Committee of the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard will present “Nista Nkun Jien”, a hilarious comedy for all the family, entirely produced by the hotel staff, the proceeds of which will go towards a charitable cause.

The performance will take place in the Chameleon Hall of the Corinthia Palace Hotel and starts at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm and guests are requested to be seated by 7.45pm. Tickets are available from the hotel’s reception desk.

All the actors taking part in the play are employees of the Corinthia Palace Hotel who have dedicated long hours, mainly their free time, to ensure the success of the event.

A formidable group of local talent, which includes Ira Losco, Ludwig Galea and Charlene and Natasha, will perform popular numbers from their respective repertoires as part of the evening’s entertainment .

All funds collected will be in aid of “Beyond the moon”, an international non-profit charitable association that aids seriously ill children by giving them and their immediate families a fully paid holiday in a child friendly destination such as Disneyland. This gives the children the opportunity of spending valuable quality time with their loved ones, in what could well be their last real vacation together. This charity has been adopted by The Corinthia Hotels International as its “Community Partner” throughout its 20 hotels in 11 destinations.

Proceeds from the Nista Nkun Jien performance will be pooled with funds raised from the hotel’s ongoing in-house campaign, enabling Corinthia Palace to nominate a Maltese child suffering from a life-threatening disease to enjoy a completely cost-free and carefree holiday for him and his family, far away from hospitals and daily treatments.
