Good Timing

Malta Independent Sunday, 7 May 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

Unlike previous years, this year's Common Entrance Examination is being held a week after the Junior Lyceum Exams instead of the week before, which was the norm.

It was a good choice of date and one that should be retained in future years.

Both students and teachers have gained another week, which lessens the race against time in the classroom.

It is common knowledge that Year 6 is very hectic and stressful and a full extra week is a godsend.

Thus, I urge all those who decide on the dates to keep to the ones we had this year.
