The Rural Affairs and Environment Ministry has initiated a campaign to give people the opportunity to make a difference to the environment by participating in local afforestation projects.

The 34U Campaign allows people to commemorate an important event, like Mother’s Day or to remember a loved one, and present them with an original gift. The tree will be identified by a wooden tag attached to it, bearing the name of a person. A photo commemorating the event will be taken and is included in the package which costs Lm6.
