The price of petrol and diesel have once again gone up, this time by a staggering three cents per litre. The water and electricity surcharge remains high.
While I understand that this is coming about because of the international situation, the government must understand that workers cannot continue to spend so much on these commodities. Our purchasing power is on the decline.
When is the government going to consider reducing other taxes to make up for this?
