Winners Of international cat show

The winners of the International Cat Show organised by the Malta Feline Guardians Club are Paula Falzon, owner of Micabliss Natalya, who won ‘Best of Best Kitten’ and ‘General Best in Show’.

Charmaine Fiorini, owner of Micabliss Koda, who won the ‘Best in Show Kitten’. Micabliss Cattery with their cat Emar Flash won ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Best of Best’ in his category.

Mary Grace Micallef with her cat Hirani Silver Lady won ‘Best Subject’ and ‘Best Opposite Sex’. Again from Micabliss Cattery, Micabliss Love Lady Affection won the ‘Best Variety’. Marvina Cecarelli owner of Micabliss Black Tie Affair won ‘Best Male Neutered’ and ‘Best of Best Neutered’.

Nadette Mifsud, owner of Micabliss Loony, won the ‘Best in Show Neutered’. In the category of Domestic Cats these were the following winners: Joan Attard, owner of Dixy, Natasha Casha, owner of Tigger, and Eleonor Saliba, owner of Trixy.

The ‘Best Public Opinion’ was won by Mary Grace Micallef, owner of Hirani Silver Lady, followed by Mary Rose Zammit, owner of Micabliss Gege, and Eleonor Saliba, owner of Trixy.

The ‘Best Decorated Cage’ was won by Rodianne Caligari and second place by Daniella Buhagiar. The following cats had to be given new categories since the judges recognised them as different breeds.

Rodianne Caligari, owner of Grigio, was nominated as ‘Best in Show Siberian’ and Diane Azzopardi, owner of Maxi Tikka, was nominated as a ‘Thai Seal Point’ as ‘Best in Show’ in his category.

Laura Ghirimoldi from Spain and Antonello Bardella from Italy judged the cats. The head steward for this show who came on purpose from Italy was Stefano Quaglia.

The main sponsor for this show were Micabliss Persians, supported by Eurosport, Eukanuba, Greenview Trading (Tidy Cat), Crystal Clear Litter Pearls and 22pm.
