Manolito Grech became the new First Division champion by beating Peter Pace 6-2 in the final at Jesmond`s Sport Club in Hamrun.

Manolito, a nephew of the famous player Guzi Grech, compiled a break of 53 during this final. Both players played some excellent snooker with Grech proving to be slightly better than his opponment. Both players have been promoted to the Premier Division.Ray Caruana won the Second Division title and thus has been promoted to the First Division.
