The Swiss top division club, FC Basel, are currently in Malta and enjoying a week's rest after a long domestic season and a fine run in the UEFA Cup which saw their elimination by the English Premier Division team, Middlesborough, in the quarter-finals.

While here they will be the MFA guests for the Floriana v Sliema Wanderers U*BET FA Trophy Semi-final to be played on Friday at the National Stadium Ta' Qali at 7.30pm.
