I could not help but smile when I read the caption “Ahead of schedule”, on the front page of your newspaper (TMID, 16 May).
In brief, it said that work on a giant dam of the Three Gorges hydropower project under construction on the Yangtze River in China will be finished nine months ahead of schedule. Nine months, not nine weeks or nine days. A full nine months.
This is when, in our lovely Malta, deadlines are never met.
We should learn lessons from these people.
