Reference is made to your feature describing the projected restoration of the mosaic-paintings at Ta Pinu Sanctuary, Gozo (TMID, 15 May).

You point out that these were designed by the famous Maltese painter Emvin Cremona, and that one of his paintings hangs in the United Nations HQ, New York .

It may not have come to your knowledge as yet that Marco Cremona, following in his father’s footsteps, has a picture which can be seen at the Council of Europe HQ, Strasbourg.

Not many people know that!
