The Chamber of Advocates expressed satisfaction at the government’s efforts to modernise the system of judicial mandates, both precautionary and executive, which were recently also mentioned in parliament.
The chamber said that it would be contributing to the discussion by proposing various suggestions in a document to be presented shortly so that the exercise would be transformed into an effective one.
While welcoming these changes to the legal system, including those to the Criminal Code announced this week, the chamber urged caution in introducing such changes to prevent any errors that would prejudice the system from working properly.
