I note the official reply explaining why the Valletta Fireworks Festival was shifted from Valletta to Ras Hanzir, Marsa (TMIS, 14 May). May I suggest that next year the barges are nudged instead 10 metres to the other side of the massive Fort St Angelo, which, true to form, can be trusted to shield our fleet from danger, even from fireworks let off sideways, to allow the nation’s capital, its visitors and inhabitants, to enjoy their festival once more.
