The second National ICT Achievements Awards (NICTAA) night will be held at the Le Meridien Hotel St Julian’s on Thursday at 7.30pm at the hotel.

The event is organised by the Malta Computer Society.

The awards categories are: IT companies, IT projects, IT products, e-business solution, IT education, information society and R & D.

From the list of nominated companies the following companies were short listed for the first, second and third placed awards for each of the above categories: 6PM, Crimsonwing, iP Limited, Exigy, MIIIT, Computer Domain, Megabyte, EBN, TCTC, Dept of Education, Dionica R & D, Ing Philip Farrugia.

A Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented on the night together with names of three university students from the Faculty of Science who were selected by the Board of studies of IT.

The Computer Society of Malta has received a record number of nominations this year.
