It is a real shame that unknown people pushed over skips into the sea at St Paul’s Bay (TMID, 13 May).
Don’t these people have anything better to do than to commit vandal acts?
These skips – not only those in St Paul’s Bay – serve the people well and they are leading to a slow change in our mentality.
Their introduction has helped people to realise that waste should not be something that it disposed of haphazardly, but that it should be separated to make it less hazardous.
As it happened, these people not only committed an act of vandalism per se but also polluted the sea where the skips were thrown.
