I write on behalf of Allwares Ltd, the owner of the premises mentioned in the article entitled Residents protest over development in Sliema (TMID, 19 May).

On behalf of my clients I would like to state that the said article contains false statements.

It is incorrect to state that the development encroaches on public land and airspace. The development application issued in favour of clients refers exclusively to property that is lawfully owned by them.

In addition, all construction works are being executed within the boundaries of their

property.
