Malta has been humiliated in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

Considering our proud past record we have been hugely humiliated.

Postmortems are coming forth fast and furious from many quarters.

I put forward one suggestion: a neutral international panel should shoulder the final refereeing and judgment with no direct interest in this so popular European competition.
