Inmate Marco Pace, known as “Il-Pinzell”, will spend an extra six months in jail after he was found guilty of threatening the director of prisons at the Corradino Correctional Facility.
Pace, 37, originally from Qormi, was found guilty of threatening Police Superintendent Sandro Gatt on 13 January at 7.30pm. He was also found guilty of relapsing.
Magistrate Anthony Vella jailed Pace for six months. It is understood that Pace will be appealing the decision. Police inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.
