About Ta’ Zeppi
Located on the cliffs facing Filfla, this magnificently sited olive grove, right on the edge of the Mediterranean, this outing will be an unforgettable experience for all those interested in agriculture.
Ta’ Zeppi is managed by Joseph Borg who also established it. He has a lifelong passion for agriculture, particularly organic farming specialising in olive trees. The first trees were planted in the grove more than 20 years ago.
Ta’ Zeppi specialises in olive tree varieties for preservation and the production of high quality, extra virgin olive oil, certified as being grown on land that is under conversion to organic farming methods. To ensure the highest quality product, olives are harvested by hand and pressed within hours using state-of-the-art machinery that conforms to organic production procedures
Participants will also have the opportunity to savour and purchase organic products.
