Following the success of the first edition of “Sole’ the Summer Festival”, Dynamic Promotions in collaboration with Fresh Music Agency invites local and international artists to participate in the second edition of “Sole’ The summer festival” – Music & Awards, Gozo 2006.

This festival, based on a trimester, will take place on Saturday 19 August in Marsalforn, Gozo.

The local artists nominated to participate are: Ira Losco, Ivan Filletti, Chris D’Alfonso, Fabrizio Faniello, Winter Moods, Scream Daisy, Bitterside, Corkscrew, Scar, RUG (Gianni & Friends), Ruby, J Joy, Miss Roberta, Joseph Armani, Duncan F, Junior B, Tony-Tony, Jonathan Abel, Malcolm B and DJ Gianni.

The evening will be compered by Daniel, Owen and Sander – the Zinners Team.

The area will be divided into two arenas with two different types of music. Fresh Music Agency DJs will host the first arena, while the second arena will be mainstream – with live alternative rock and commercial dance music played by 897Bay DJs and international guests.

Dynamic Promotions, in collaboration with Fresh Music Agency, are hosting a number of international guests.

Steve Edwards has been confirmed as one of the main headliners of this event. The Live PA will include current hits like Bob Sinclar’s World Hold On and Axwell’s Watch The Sunrise, and old time classics such as Cassius’ Sound Of Violence and Kings Of Tomorrow’s Make Believe.

During the evening a number of awards will be given for the most popular singer, band and DJ in Gozo. The Gozitan general public will be invited to nominate and vote for the best artists, which will take place some weeks before the event.
