Two Young vocalists at the next Lunchtime Concert

“It Takes Two” is the title of the last concert in this series of Lunchtime Concerts, organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts.

Maria Eleonora and Joseph Zammit will be performing a selection of songs from well-known musicals and will be accompanied on the piano by Maria Scicluna. The concert will be held on Wednesday in the Music Room of St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta.

Maria Eleonora and Joseph will interpret extracts from popular musicals, namely from Gene De Paule’s Seven Brides and Seven Brothers, Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. The programme also includes a duet by Giaocchino Rossini, Heiteres Duett Der Zwei Katzen, (humorous duet for two cats).

The performance starts at 12.35pm and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Tickets at Lm0.75 and Lm0.50 each for children under 12 and persons over 60 can be purchased from the Booking Office at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, Valletta, Tel: 21 223 200 (opening hours from 10am to 9pm daily).
