Ever since it was set up in 2004, Hoi Polloi Theatre Productions has been introducing new faces to the theatre scene, all in aid of charitable organisations. In just a few years it has managed to capture the hearts of the many who were involved: cast, musicians and crew, as well as the audiences who have attended the shows. This year it plans to do it... again!

Till now Hoi Polloi has worked for the Malta Community Chest Fund and Richmond Foundation with the productions Sindi Rella (2004) and Tarzan & Gejni (2005) respectively. This time, in collaboration with Puttinu Cares, Hoi Polloi will work in aid of the children’s cancer support group.

This year Hoi Polloi will revive, with spectacular singing, characterisations and dancing, some of the best loved songs by legendary writer of screen and stage Cole Porter, brought to life in This Thing Called Love – an evening of fun, entertainment and a little taste of this thing called love, at the Manoel Theatre on 27, 28 and 29 October.
