Malta Song Board chairman Robert Abela yesterday filed a libel suit against former chairman Grace Borg for comments she made during a recent episode of Bondi+.

Mr Abela filed the suit against Ms Borg and TVM editor Sylvana Cristina for comments made during the 23 May episode of Bondi+ about the Eurovision Song Contest.

Mr Abela claimed that comments made by Ms Borg were untrue, libellous and defamatory and were intended to tarnish his good name. He requested the court to declare the comments to be libellous and to order Ms Borg to pay compensation for damages.
