Dhalia Employees contribute towards a cleaner environment

Malta Independent Friday, 2 June 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

In an effort to do their part and contribute towards a cleaner environment, a group of 60 Dhalia employees accompanied by the company’s chairman and CEO, Franco Valletta, and business development director Chris Grech recently conducted a clean-up activity at Selmun. Following this clean-up, the area can once again be enjoyed by the public as a popular picnic area.

Mr Valletta stated that organising and participating in environment-friendly campaigns forms part of Dhalia’s corporate social responsibility. Instilling a caring attitude towards the environment within Dhalia will continue to be an integral part of our mission, thereby contributing in consistent small ways towards a healthier lifestyle for Maltese society in general, he said.

The clean-up activity at Selmun forms part of a corporate campaign hosted by Dhalia Real Estate Services to promote a cleaner and better environment for future generations to enjoy. In fact, this activity was coordinated together with the Rural Affairs and the Environment Ministry.
