Over the past months we have seen several famous singers being brought over to Malta to give concerts.

The trend seems to be continuing as other singers will be performing in Malta over the next few weeks.

While I must say that the organisers should be commended for all the efforts they are making to open up Malta to such activities, I must say that the prices that are sometimes being charged are way too expensive.

Some people would like to go to all concerts, because they like all kinds of music, but the fees being charged as well as the fact that so many concerts are being held within a short space of time makes it impossible.

I understand that it costs a lot of money to bring over established musicians to Malta, but the organisers would have more people attending the concert if the prices charged are lower.

Secondly, it would be a good idea for such concerts to be staggered over a longer period of time, rather than being concentrated over a few weeks.
