The latest survey carried out by The Media Warehouse for April 2006 has confirmed Xfm 100.2 as Malta’s highest climbing radio station. Compared to the previous survey released for October 2005, Xfm has shot up in listener ship by 123 per cent and now controls 12.3 per cent of the total radio market share.
Xfm also enjoys the largest breakfast show audience, while The Nescafe Big Breakfast Show with Carlo Borg Bonaci has once again shown its popularity by topping the list, with a majority of 16.7 per cent tuning in, making it Malta's no.1 radio programme.
In addition, Xfm holds a commanding first place among the 13 to 17 year olds, with 45.3 per cent of this market share.
The latest Media Warehouse survey also shows that Xfm continues to strengthen its position among the 18 to 24 age group, with an increase of 37 per cent and a further increase of 200 per cent among the ages of 25 to 34.
