Marsaxlokk are in the middle of preparations for their UEFA Intertoto Cup commitments against Zrinjski Mostar of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Their matches are to be played on 17 and 25 June with the second leg in Malta.

At present, the team is still under the hands of Oliver Spiteri, their trainer and coach the past season.

Among the newcomers for next season will be Daniel Bogdanovic and David Camilleri who will be returning ‘home’ after loan spells with Sliema and Hibernians respectively. Also joining the southern seasiders’ ranks the coming season will be former Floriana midfielder, Andre da Silva of Brazil, who played for Tarxien Rainbows the past season.

After their Intertoto Cup commitments, the team will have a short rest and will resume training on 17 July, in preparation for the domestic new season, under the hands of new English coach Brian Talbot, formerly of Hibernians’ fame.
