Malta’s countryside is peppered with architectural gems many of which have fallen into a poor state of repair over the years. St Paul’s Chapel was built in 1729 on the site of an older chapel. After many decades of neglect the fortunes of St Paul’s Chapel in Attard have changed.
With the full backing of the Attard parish, Reno Saliba has taken it upon himself to oversee the restoration of this beautiful chapel. Funding is the key hurdle in such restoration projects and Mr Saliba is delighted to have found the support of GasanMamo Insurance which agreed to part finance this worthy project.
Restoration works on this chapel should take one year with most of the work being done on the exterior to prevent further damage. Mr Saliba confirmed that the chapel will be used for cultural and spiritual purposes.
