Resources and Infrastructure Minister Ninu Zammit yesterday presented attendance certificates to 13 participants who successfully completed a Middle Management course.

The two-and-a-half year course was organised by the Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC), in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the university.

The course focused on the basic elements of management and human resources and was aimed at preparing participants to manage construction projects.

Speaking about the importance of training and development in the construction industry, Minister Zammit said another 19 were attending the same course that opened in January. He said a new course was in the pipeline, leading to a diploma in project management. The idea is to give those who completed the middle management course the opportunity to be able to further their studies.
