The day centres for people with a disability this week hosted 30 persons with a disability from Malta, Latvia, Italy, Spain and Holland.
This youth programme, entitled “Play With Me My Games”, was a continuation of a multi-lateral exchange programme which started in Latvia last year and will be hosted by the other participating countries in the years to come.
The aim of this exchange programme was to bring together through games, young people with different abilities and with diverse cultural backgrounds through games. In Malta, a group of youths with intellectual disability and other youths between the ages of 18 and 25 years, were identified and they have been involved at all stages of preparation and planning of the programme.
