The first week of World Cup action has seen hundreds of fans enjoying the football spectacle at the Valletta Waterfront. All 64 matches of the competition are being shown on a large screen which has been set up on the Laguna opposite the various bars and restaurants which now occupy the former Pinto Stores.
In addition to World Cup action, visitors to Valletta Waterfront can also enjoy watching Formula One racing. The next race in this year’s championship taking place in Canada will be shown on the big screen on Sunday 25 June, starting at 7pm. Visitors can watch all this sporting action while at the same time enjoying an al fresco drink or meal along the water’s edge.
