Msida St Joseph Football Club have appointed Patrick Curmi as their new coach for the coming season 2006/07.

Curmi, 46, has previous experience with other top clubs like, Lija, Marsa and Hamrun in the Premier League. For the last three years he was the head coach of Pieta Hotspurs and with this club he had a positive experience with youngsters and he also won for the first time ever the U/19 section A championship.

He will be replacing Bulgarian Todor Raykov who led the side last season.

Pre-season for Msida players will start in the first week of July and the assistant coach for Patrick Curmi is expected to be a foreigner from an Italian Serie A club.
