Foreign Minister Sues Labour leader for libel

Foreign Minister Michael Frendo yesterday filed a libel suit against Labour Leader Alfred Sant over allegations he made in his regard during a political activity last Sunday.
Dr Frendo called on the court to declare that the allegations were libellous and were aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
Dr Joe Zammit Maemple signed the writ.
