A 28-year-old from Rabat was yesterday accused of threatening seven police officers.

Sandro Degabriele was charged with threatening seven police officers in Rabat and at the Police General Headquarters on Thursday afternoon.

He was also accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid licence or insurance cover.

The court set bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500 and a deposit of an equal amount. The court also ordered that the accused can only leave the house to go to work. Dr Leon Bencini appeared for the accused.
