Bla Agenda, one of Super 1 Television’s flagship programmes, ends its 2005/2006 season today, after a successful run of 39 weeks, featuring over 160 guests from all walks of life.
Statistically speaking, Bla Agenda has been airing for the past 12 years, playing host to around 1,920 personalities.
The Super 1 board of directors has already approved a further 39 weeks of Bla Agenda, running from next October through to June 2007.
Apart from the 7.30pm news bulletin, Bla Agenda is Super One’s longest-running programme.
This Saturday night live talk show is the brainchild of veteran broadcaster Norman Hamilton, who presents the programme and is its executive producer.
Exceptionally, the last programme in the current series will be broadcast live today, in order to avoid clashing with the World Cup quarter-final match on Saturday night.
On this special Monday night edition of Bla Agenda, the special guest will be Joseph Calleja, the Maltese tenor who has done his country proud, etching his name in gold across major opera houses all over the world. His international television appearances have been countless, and Joseph always makes a point of emphasising his Maltese origin. Joseph Calleja will be appearing exclusively in Bla Agenda, as far as local TV programmes are concerned.
Also being featured on tonight’s show is Joseph Calleja’s Moldovian wife – the world-famous soprano Tatjana Lisnich, together with Anton Tabone and Amabile Zammit of Renaissance Productions, who happen to be Joseph’s Calleja management team as well as the promoters of the upcoming MIDI concert, being held at Manoel Island on 8 July, featuring Joseph Calleja and Tatjana Lisnich and the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.
Be sure to make a date in your diary to avoid missing Joseph Calleja Live on Bla Agenda, being broadcast on Super 1 TV today between 8.30pm and 11pm.
