The Malta Labour Party will be convening an extraordinary general conference between 20 and 22 July. The first two sessions will be held at the party headquarters in Hamrun while the third will be held in Gozo.
MLP deputy leader for party affairs Michael Falzon said the conference will be a continuation of the work started by the party last year when it had approved documents for social and economic regeneration, and last January, when it had approved documents on tourism and the environment.
The coming conference will be asked to approve documents on industry, education, health and Gozo.
Dr Falzon said the MLP was looking at politics in a holistic way. The country cannot continue to be administered in such a haphazard way, and the party’s documents are built on what the country needs.
The party will continue to formulate documents on other sectors in the coming months.
