Early last month, a short documentary on the traditional lifestyle and folklore of the small village of Santa Lucija in Gozo was shot in the main square and streets of the village.

The documentary is one of a series of activities organised on the occasion of the setting up of the Fundazzjoni Folkloristika Ta' Klula, a foundation established recently in Santa Lucija to promote the traditions, folklore and customs of typical Gozo life.

The next public event of the new foundation is a dinner serving traditional Gozitan food, to be held on 29 July in the main pjazza, which is renowned for its traditional village features.
