Former Juventus gaoler Stefano Tacconi visited Malta recently.

He came to Malta on the Costa Concordia and took part in the television programme Capitani in mezzo al mare hosted by Roberto Onofri, which was broadcast on Raidue on Friday afternoon.

Then he visited the on-line betting company Astrabet office in St Julian’s. Tacconi has accepted to be Astrabet’s public face at a time, said the company in a press release, “when the betting business needs an injection of credibility and transparency”.

A seminar was held with the participation of the Astrabet management, Mario Galea from the Lotteries and Gaming Autority, Italian lawyers Cino Benelli and Sandro Guerra and Maltese lawyer Dr Chetcuti Cauchi. There was also present, said an Italian report, Emmanuel Yannakis, presented as a collaborator of Astrabet, which intends to open in Greece and Cyprus.
