The Institute of Directors Malta Branch (IoD Malta) has launched the new IoD Malta website at www.iod.com/malt
The information available on the site is the result of close collaboration between partners at the IoD in the United Kingdom and IoD European Branch network levels, coordinated by the local institute (IoD Malta), with the support of the IoD Malta council.
The website has been completely redesigned by IoD UK’s web development team and by local directors at IoD Malta to offer a sharper focus for both current and prospective company directors.
It highlights IoD Malta’s role as a centre of strategic and corporate governance excellence and in the creation of value for local directors in the Mediterranean region.
The site features IoD Malta’s new policy directions under its seven development themes: director training, the board and globalisation,
economic growth and
networking, trade and industry, business management, conferences and seminars, community and sustainability and corporate governance and financial markets.
Recent news released on the site, which is integrated with IoD’s global site, includes interest rates, a new policy paper on tax avoidance, how to appeal against revenue and Customs decisions, the IoD Energy Conference (this high level one-day conference, being held on Thursday, will focus on future energy policy and the impact this will have), and assessing a company’s eligibility for grants.
With a new news section, an updated look and improved navigation and functionality, the IoD Malta site and IoD global site provides expanded access to background information on policy, information and advice, allowing business people to better understand the latest trading environment as well as legal and procedural developments.
In addition, the new site includes contextual links to IoD’s reports and publications with material covering a vast range of business topics and the latest innovations and developments at IoD.
Visit the expanded IoD Malta website at www.iod.com/malta to:

IoD Malta is at an exciting stage in its development and one of the roles of the new website is also to reflect this.
