A man has been conditionally discharged for three years after pleading guilty to defrauding a person out of Lm180.
Carmelo Borda, 37, from Safi, pleaded guilty to defrauding Simon Darmanin out of Lm180 on 2 January 2004.
The court, presided over by magistrate Miriam Hayman heard Borda admit the charges against him and also that he had repaid Mr Darmanin the money he owed him and conditionally discharged him for three years.
Police inspector Joseph Cordina prosecuted.
